Indigenous Australians mark 75 years since Day of Mourning protests

The 2013 'Australia Day' (now known to First Australians as Survival and/or Invasion Day) marks the 75th anniversary in the fight for Aboriginal rights and recognition. In 1938, a large group of Aboriginal people gathered in Sydney, at a protest called 'The Day of Mourning'.
