Happy Birthday Tony Blackburn

Tony Blackburn is a sensational 70 years old this month (January 29th). Tony sounds just as enthusiastic as he did when he first started out on Radio Caroline nearly half a century ago.

For years he was the King of Breakfast on the pirate station Radio London, Radio 1, Capital Gold and Classic Gold. Tony is still very much in demand and can be heard across the week on five different radio stations – BBC and commercial. You just can’t seem to get him out of the studio.

In this short montage you’ll hear Tony from 1964 to the present day. Hear some of those fab jingles he enjoyed playing so much and, for some reason, an obsession with knees! Happy 70th Birthday Tony.
