The Private Space Flight Era Begins -- MrC

Now that all of NASA's space shuttles have been grounded and are finding their way to new homes in the nation's science museums, NASA needed another way to ferry astronauts and supplies to the International Space Station. Private companies like SpaceX have begun developing their own launch delivery system. Multiple companies are now competing for NASA contracts. The era of private space flight has begun.
