In the July 2011 edition of the Review we featured a report by Ron Croxton who fought at the Battle of #Maleme. We were then contacted by Bill Thompson who was captured at Maleme and he has recounted his incredible account of life as a #Prisoner of #War. Bill was a member of a Commando #Battalion and he talks of his capture, his escape from one POW camp and how he gained an education in another. It’s an incredible and true account
